So the recital is on indefinite hiatus after a meeting between the school and everyone's guardians. Apparently the catastrophes have everyone so bloody afraid to leave their homes, and guess whose grandparents stood up first to wholeheartedly support this decision! They even talked Aunt Cindy out of coming to visit!

I hate it here. What was the bloody point of accepting the scholarship if so much was going to get in the way of my dancing?!

Note to self: The human calf is not meant to stretch that way.

I wish I hadn't decided to pay more attention. I was happier when all I cared about was dancing.

The fact that I can't go to sleep without reading a bit of this book every night says I'm either enjoying it, or find it so boring it's practically a cure for insomina!

In other news, Madame Sokolova's postponed the show for another month. She didn't say why, but at least this gives me time to invite Aunt Cindy to come see me perform!

My paternal grandmother sent me a copy of the first Harry Potter book.

I suppose it can't hurt to give it a read.

Madame Sokolova, you bloody fool! How could you cast a disgrace like Oleg as Fritz?! Because his mother bribed you? Because his parents are rich and he's only here so they can show him off?! He doesn't even take the art of ballet seriously, he's a disgrace to real dancers who worked for years to get where they are today, like me! And everyone else in this class!

It almost makes me glad Anisia will probably win the role of Swanilda instead of me, because at least she worked for it. I do feel sorry for her having to dance opposite Oleg, though. And poor Leon, I've never seen him so upset!
